Tips and Tricks
-Its the simple things. Employers will notice the littlest things such as your personality, kind smile, professionalism and most of all ATTITUDE!
-Be confident in your skills.
-Let the employee know that you want to help build the practice. One way to do this is to carry the employee's business card and give it to those that you think would benefit from the office's services.
-Offer products to your patients if they need them. For example bleaching kits, fluoride toothpaste, specialized toothbrushes, water-picks.
- Always have a sealant tray ready to go so that you can jump right in and get them done if you have extra time. It benefits the practice and the patient by saving time.
-Remember that you DO leave a reputation behind.
-If you work in another office don't let the patients know. You may cause the office to loose patients if you play favorites which does not look good.
-If you make the employer look good they will make you look good.
-Always be thinking ahead.
-Be proactive; if you are not busy help out others, work on your recall system, call the next or last patient.
